Based on Curtains.js. Fully customizable in size and shape, responsive (behaves like css cover). Options for autoplay or buttons, transition duration, custom displacement maps or pixel distance, built in easings (no libs). Will add more shaders soon (hopefully).

Webgl Image Transition Slider ⟋ webgl

Sakharov.space is a digital museum of Andrei Sakharov. It is the first and only large-scale project of its kind dedicated to his life, scientific work and human rights activism. 

We took the liberty to integrate modern design solutions into this project so that it turned out to be spectacular. For example, we created a 3D imagery of Sakharov and implemented it using WebGL technology. The archive images helped us make the features of the 3D model similar to real Sakharov ones. Then we animated it, recreating the atmosphere of an old movie.
 
The site was assembled by 85% on the Webflow and by 15% using WebGL.

You can clone and change the following attribute inside the canvasContainer:
data-grid (default value: 34), //generate how many grid
data-mouse (default value: 0.25), //mouse radius affecting the distortion
data-strength (default value: 1), //higher = more parallax and distorted.
data-relaxation (default value: .9), //lower = faster pixel re-sorting
data-aspectRatio (default value: 1.77), //change Aspect Ratio according to your image size. (default 1920x1080)

It is recommended to use landscape images,
To calculate aspect ratio, you can do (image pixel width / image pixel  height)
